Ficus brachypoda (BWNPOD) PODIUM™ is a compact selection of a tough northern Australian fig, forming a neat domed canopy of deep green, leathery leaves. It brings the presence and shade of a fig at a scale that suits streets, courtyards and smaller sites.
In the landscape
Specified where an evergreen shade or feature tree is wanted without the bulk of the larger figs, forecourts, pool surrounds, car parks and boulevard planting. Its domed crown reads formally enough for clipped schemes and sits well over native understorey planting. As with any fig, allow sensible clearance from paving and services.
